CWP Europe Empowers Albanian Renewable Energy Sector with Investment in Wind Resource Assessment Center

CWP Europe has announced a partnership with the Polytechnic University of Tirana (PUT) to establish a Wind Resource Assessment Center. This move marks the first of its kind in the region and demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to revolutionizing the energy landscape in Southeast Europe and developing the wind industry in Albania.

Aimed at fostering the development of practical skills, the center is endowed with cutting-edge hardware, state-of-the-art analysis software, and invaluable hands-on training for PUT faculty members and students.

The launch event was attended by Mr Enio Jaco, President of AmCham in Albania, representatives from the US Embassy, prominent Albanian renewable energy experts, and CWP Europe representatives, namely Pellumb Kallaba, Country Manager for Albania, Ivan Lozanov, Senior Development Manager, and Mark Crandall, Co- Founder and Chairman.

Experts from the CWP Resource Assessment teams will commence the first round of training towards the end of June. The ongoing partnership will include site visits to CWP project sites, where resource measurement equipment will be installed and operated.
